![]() For this project, I used models I found on The Replica Prop Forum (and the Facebook group The Pepakura Library ( ). This allows you to make highly accurate and perfectly scaled models with relative ease. Once broken up, you can print out these 2D pieces out and glue them back together into a physical replica. Pepakura is the process of taking a 3D model and breaking it down into 2D parts, similar to a three dimensional jigsaw puzzle. In order to make this costume, I used a free program called Pepakura Designer 3 ( ). Paint (Gloss Black, Gunmetal Grey, Clear Gloss) Faux Leathery Pinstriped Black Fabric, 3 Yards Adafruit Electret Microphone Amplifier - MAX4466 Arduino Protoshield (optional but reccomended) x2 In addition, for the lights and sound effects I used the following Water Putty (Used to fill cracks, optional but reccomended) ![]() ![]() I will however try to remember and streamline all of the various bits and pieces I used throughout this project.įor the making of any pepakura, here is a standard list of materials you will need: -Cardstock As I was making this on a college student budget, a lot of the materials are either improvised or reused from previous projects I've completed.
